The Sticky Wall

The Sticky Wall is a board where anyone can promote a product by purchasing a sticky note layer ($2) or by claiming / outbidding the 1-of-1 Hot Card (min $5). All placements are paid in USD up front through our payment processor and become visible immediately after a verified payment.

You buy a layer, not permanent exclusive space

"You are buying a layer, not permanent exclusive space." When your note is covered by another note, it does not disappear — it just moves down the Z-index into bedrock. Anyone can drag the Peel slider or use Dig mode to inspect the layer history at any spot on the board. We do not guarantee prominence, visibility, or any fixed position for any note.

The Hot Card & Outbid Rule

The Hot Card is a single (1 of 1) slot. Claiming it costs at least $5; another buyer may outbid you at any time by paying at least $1 more than your bid. When outbid, the previous holder gets a short relocation window (currently 2 minutes) to drag their note to any free spot on the board. After the window expires the note simply remains a regular layer. No refund or compensation is issued for losing a bid, being outbid, or expiring the relocation window.

Content Rules

Every submission passes an automated moderation engine: profanity, hate speech, illegal solicitation (drugs, weapons, cybercrime), scam patterns (get-rich-quick, fake airdrops, wallet drainers), gibberish, and unsafe link schemes (shorteners, tunnels, raw IPs, punycode, known scam/impersonation domains) are rejected. We may remove any note at any time for violating content rules, tampering, payment fraud, or abuse of the board — without refund where the rule breach is the cause. Impersonating platform handles (@admin, @support, etc.) is not permitted.

Ownership & License

You keep ownership of the text you submit. By submitting it you grant builtwhilebroke.tech a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display it on the board and in board history / dig records. You confirm you have the right to publish the product name, pitch, and any website link you attach.

Liability & Availability

The board is provided as-is, with no uptime or availability guarantee. Notes are stored in your browser (localStorage) and are not backed up server-side; clearing browser storage deletes your notes. builtwhilebroke.tech is not liable for lost notes, lost bids, technical faults, moderation rejections, or any indirect damages resulting from use of the board.
